Sharp decline in Pakistan Stock Exchange Today

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a sharp decline on the first day of the trading week, causing billions of rupees to be lost by investors. The negative trend prevailed since the beginning of the market and the 100 index fell below the level of 163,000 points to 158,000.

According to the details, the 100 index recorded a significant decline of 4,654 points during trading, after which the index closed at 158,443 points. The index fell by about 2.85 percent during trading and as a result of the continuous decline, it also lost the important psychological levels of 163,000, 62,000, 61,000, 60,000 and 59,000.

At one point in the market, the 100 index also reached a low of 157,678 points, which is being described as one of the biggest declines of the current month. According to analysts, investors are forced to withdraw capital due to uncertain economic conditions, fluctuations in global markets and concerns over government policies.

It should be noted that on the last trading day of last week, the 100 index closed at 163,098 points, however, the sharp decline at the beginning of the week has raised questions about the stability of the market.
