Karachi: It is good news for the Pakistani economy that overseas Pakistanis remitted a total of $3.214.4 billion in July 2025. According to the State Bank of Pakistan, these figures were recorded in the first month of the current fiscal year, which is 7.4% more than the same month last year.
A major portion of the remittances came from Saudi Arabia, from where $823.7 million was received. 665 million from the UAE, 450 million from the UK, 420 million from the European Union, 295 million from other Gulf countries, and about 270 million from the US were sent to Pakistan.
