Islamabad: The Bureau of Statistics has released its July 2025 report, according to which there has been a significant improvement in the overall production of major industries in the country.
According to the data, the furniture sector grew the most and its production increased by 86.79 percent on an annual basis. The automobile industry also performed well and recorded a 57.80 percent increase in its production.
During the same period, the production of the garment industry increased by 24.79 percent, cement production increased by 18.75 percent, while the production of petroleum products increased by 13.18 percent.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, food production also increased by 6.63 percent annually, however, a decrease was observed in the beverage, chemical and machinery and equipment sectors.
