Karachi: There was a lot of turmoil in business activities on Wednesday at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, where the 100 Index started the day in a negative manner, but soon the market improved and the index saw a significant increase.
During the trading day, the index increased by 1,078 points and reached a level of 137,232. However, after some time, due to profit booking, the market saw a partial decline, and at the end, the index increased by 440 points to close at 136,379.
The market’s lowest level was recorded at 135,542, while the previous day’s closing was 135,939.
Experts say that this market performance reflects investor confidence and hope for a possible improvement in the economy. Although there was volatility throughout the day, the market overall showed stability.
