Petrol prices drop in global market Pakistan expected to announce new rates on 15 October

Islamabad: After the decline in petrol prices in the global market, the possibility of a decline in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan has also increased. The new prices will be announced on October 15.

According to the latest data, the global price of petrol has decreased from $ 76.51 per barrel to $ 73.71 per barrel, recording a significant decrease of $ 2.80 per barrel.

According to sources, the premium per barrel on petrol has decreased by 35 cents and the price per liter by 2 cents. Similarly, the exchange adjustment has been reduced by 65 paise, the customs duty by 32 paise, and the marine duty by 51 paise.

According to reports, the ex-refinery price of petrol has decreased by Rs 6.19 paise. On the other hand, the price of high-speed diesel has also decreased by 74 cents per barrel and 37 paise at the refinery level.

According to experts, this decline in global crude oil prices could lead to a significant reduction in local prices of petrol and diesel in Pakistan, which is expected to be announced in a few days.
