Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a strong rally during trading today, with the 100 index up 2760 points to close at 1,60,944 points.
After a slight decline at the beginning of the market, large-scale buying by investors was seen, which turned the market positive. During trading, the index fell to 1,58,971 points at one point, but later the investment trend supported the market.
The index had closed at 1,58,183 points yesterday. According to analysts, positive signals about the country’s economy and upcoming fiscal decisions have improved investor confidence in the market.
