Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Market witnessed a bullish end to the business week today, bringing temporary relief to the ongoing uncertainty in the market.

On the last day of the week, volatility continued during early trading; however, investors showed interest in buying by the end of the first session, as a result of which the 100 index closed at 120,615 points with an increase of 612 points. The index also touched a high of 120,652 points during the day’s trading.

Financial experts say that this improvement in the stock market is the result of reduced global economic pressure, stabilization in oil prices, and progress in policy reforms by Pakistan’s economic team. It is expected that more investment will be seen in the market next week, especially if economic indicators remain good.
