Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on the third day of the trading week, due to which the 100 index could not maintain the psychological threshold of 133,000 once again.
During the trading session, the 100 index recorded a significant decline of 826 points, after which the index closed at 132,576 points.
However, during the trading session, the 100 index also reached the level of 133,566 points at one point, which was today’s highest level.
Yesterday, i.e., Tuesday, the market closed at 133,403 points, which is about 827 points higher than today’s closing points.
Business analysts say that investors are uncertain about global financial indicators and domestic economic policies, due to which selling pressure is increasing in the market.
