Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has issued a special commemorative coin of Rs 75 with the theme “Battle of Truth” to pay tribute to the defense of the homeland and the sacrifices of the armed forces. The coin will be available at the field offices of the State Bank from August 15, 2025.
This unique coin is of special importance due to its design and symbolic imprint. On its obverse, a waxing crescent and a five-pointed star are inscribed, surrounded by the words “Islamic Republic of Pakistan”. The year of issue 2025 is also prominent along with wheat ears, while the value of the coin is written in bold letters and Urdu script.
The coin is made of copper (79%), zinc (20%) and nickel (1%), weighs 13.5 grams and has a diameter of 30 mm. The reverse side features the words “Battle of Truth” and “Pakistan is forever alive” with images of two fighter jets, a ship and a rocket launcher, symbolizing the valor of the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
According to the State Bank, this commemorative coin will not only be a valuable addition to collectors but will always be remembered as an important symbolic monument in the history of the defense of the homeland.
