Islamabad: The government has issued a new notification revising the prices of petroleum products. According to the Ministry of Finance, the new prices will be implemented from 12 o’clock tonight.
The issued notification has stated that the price of diesel has been increased by Rs 4.4 per liter, after which the new price of diesel has been set at Rs 276.81 per liter.
Similarly, the price of petrol has also been increased by Rs 4.7 per liter and now petrol is available at Rs 268.68 per liter.
Experts say that this increase in prices is the result of the increase in crude oil prices and import costs in the global market, which will directly affect the public.
