Passport Application Process
- Fee Payment: Generate a Payment Slip ID (PSID) via the Passport Fee Asaan app or the e-Payment Web Portal. Pay the fee through internet banking, ATMs, JazzCash, Easypaisa, or 1-Link member bank branches.
- Visit the Regional Passport Office (RPO): Bring the original CNIC/NICOP and a photocopy. For renewals, carry the previous passport. Government employees must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC). For minors, present the Child Registration Certificate (CRC).
- Biometric & Photo Capture: Fingerprints and photographs will be taken at the passport office.
- Data Entry & Interview: Personal details will be recorded, followed by a brief interview with an official.
- Passport Collection: Collect the passport from the same office or opt for delivery, depending on the service chosen.
Processing Times
- Normal Processing: Approximately 21 working days
- Urgent Processing: Approximately 5 working days
