LPG prices reduced, consumers get relief

Islamabad: OGRA has provided relief to citizens by announcing a reduction in LPG prices at the beginning of September. According to the regulatory authority, the price of LPG per kg has been reduced by Rs 1.17 to Rs 214.19.

After the implementation of the new prices, the price of a 11.8-kg domestic cylinder has decreased by Rs 13.89 to Rs 2,527.47.

Consumers were facing severe hardships due to the continuous increase in LPG prices last month, but the citizens are calling the latest reduction a positive development.

Although the price reduction is modest, this decision is a source of some comfort for the public in the era of rising inflation. Experts say that policy-level measures are indispensable for long-term relief.
