Today, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a mixed trading session, with the 100 Index gaining 121 points to close at 114,301 as the trading week concluded.
During the day, the index varied within a range of 2,563 points, peaking at an intraday high of 115,172, which is a new record for the index. The market saw significant activity, with a total of 1.11 billion shares traded, amounting to approximately 59 billion PKR in value. Furthermore, the market capitalization surged by 70 billion PKR, reaching a record high of 14.587 trillion PKR.
As investors look ahead, they will closely monitor future sessions for trends influenced by economic conditions and corporate developments.
