Sources indicate the moon for 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal is likely to be sighted on August 24. This will lead to a public holiday on Friday, September 5. This holiday will be immediately followed by another official holiday on Saturday, September 6, for Pakistan Defense Day. With the regular weekend on Saturday and Sunday, this creates a four-day break.
