Traffic law enforcement in Punjab, crackdown on overspeeding

Lahore: Punjab Traffic Police has continued its strict crackdown on speed violators and has fined 95,000 drivers so far this year. During this, motorcycles, cars, and commercial transport have all faced indiscriminate action.

According to the spokesperson, there has been a 97 percent increase in overspeeding cases compared to last year. Officials say that these measures are being taken for public safety and to reduce accidents on the roads.
