LAHORE: The All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association has rejected the Punjab government’s decision to extend the summer vacations, saying that the move will adversely affect students’ academic activities and exam preparation.

The association has demanded that the government allow at least matriculation and intermediate classes to resume. It may be recalled that the provincial government has issued instructions that no school will be allowed to open before September 1, and strict action will be taken in case of violation.
