Khawaja Asif’s blunt response to Indian Air Chief: “No Pakistani aircraft shot down”

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly rejected the recent claims of the Indian Air Chief, saying that India has failed to shoot down a single Pakistani aircraft. He also challenged independent and impartial verification of the aircraft stockpiles of both countries.

Khawaja Asif explained that Pakistan not only destroyed six Indian warplanes but also targeted the S-400 air defence system. According to him, Pakistan immediately gave a detailed technical briefing to the international media, after which international observers, foreign intelligence reports and even Indian politicians have admitted to the damage caused to several Indian aircraft, including Rafale.

He said that these statements of the Indian Air Chief have come out after three months, which are not only untimely but also raise questions on their authenticity.
