SRT train successfully launched in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz’s experimental journey completes

Lahore: The trial service of Super Autonomous Rapid Transit (SRT) has been launched in Lahore as an environmental protection and modern travel facility. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz herself traveled from Ali Town to Muslim Town in this modern electric train.

She said that this project is very close to her heart and is a big step towards providing dignified and environmentally friendly travel facilities to the people of Punjab.

According to the spokesperson, SRT is successfully running in many countries of the world, including Turkey, China and Abu Dhabi. This train has 3 coaches, a capacity of 320 passengers and the latest facilities such as air conditioners. On a single charge, this train can cover a distance of 40 kilometers.

Maryam Nawaz said that “This is not just a transport project but an environmentally friendly, comfortable and futuristic project that will become a symbol of Lahore’s development.”
