Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that the sons of the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will be welcomed to Pakistan, but wherever they go, they should not forget that their father has been convicted in a mega corruption case worth 190 million pounds. Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said that the sons of the founder of the PTI have the right to run a political movement, but they should also tell the public the background of the sentence passed against their father.
Atta Tarar alleged that the founder of the PTI could not present any effective evidence in the court in his defense, which is why he was convicted.
Talking about the issue of terrorism, the Information Minister said that terrorism is not just a problem of Pakistan but a threat to the entire world, and Pakistan has taken exemplary steps against it. He said that Pakistan is the only country whose schools have also been targeted by terrorists, and we are a shield for the world that is fighting terrorism.
Atta Tarar described the recent incident in Balochistan as the worst manifestation of violent extremism and said that the government is taking new steps against terrorism and giving a message of peace.
