Rawalpindi: The preliminary results of the 750 Rupees Prize Bond Draw were announced at the National Savings Center at 10 am today. The first prize of Rs 1,500,000 was won by bond number 953346, while the second prize of Rs 500,000 was reserved for bond numbers 294897, 651248, and 965105
The drawing process was carried out with complete transparency, in the presence of public observers
After this, the list of third prizes of Rs 9,300 will be published, comprising 1,696 lucky numbers
The government has fixed the rate of withholding tax on prizes at 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers
Financial experts say that this tax rate is an attempt to bring more people into the tax net.
The Rs 750 bond is seen as a public investment and a serious gift, as it offers a chance for big prizes along with safe investment.
Winners will have to claim their prize money from the concerned centers along with the original bond and a copy of the CNIC.
