Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said in his message on Ashura Day that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (R.A.) was a divine mission based on truth, justice, and the will of God.
He said that Karbala was a test of the true spirit and character of religion, in which the Imam Hussain (R.A.) refused to bow down to oppression and oppression. The President stressed that today we as a nation must adopt the character of Hussaini so that Pakistan can be made an example of justice and freedom.
