Spain: Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has strongly demanded global financial justice and an increase in development aid. Addressing the Fourth Global Finance for Development Conference in Spain, he said that increasing debt and climate change have increased financial challenges for developing countries.
He said that the current global financial architecture is failing to meet the needs of developing economies, due to which poverty and inequality are increasing.
Supporting the full implementation of the conference’s Compromise of Seville plan, he said that increasing local resources and increasing the lending capacity of development banks has become inevitable.
Senator Aurangzeb stressed that a common commitment is necessary for sustainable development and global prosperity, and Pakistan will continue to raise its voice at every forum for this purpose.
