Washington: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed concern over efforts to incite the U.S. House of Representatives against Pakistan, urging politicians not to take actions that could harm the country.
Speaking to the media in the United States, Naqvi stated that while engaging in politics is essential, it should not come at the cost of Pakistan’s interests. “Politicians should engage in politics but not to the extent that it damages Pakistan,” he emphasized.
Addressing recent media reports, he clarified that he had not attended any events in the U.S. directed against China and explained that his participation in a youth event had been misrepresented by propaganda.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that the purpose of his visit was to meet with U.S. policymakers to devise an effective strategy in the fight against terrorism.
