Bahawalpur: Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has taken a major step to provide convenience to deserving women during the intense heat. Now, financial payments will be made through approved retail networks instead of camps to save women from the heat, travel, and long wait.

This new procedure has come into effect today (Monday), and all necessary preparations have been completed for its implementation. A high-level meeting was held in Bahawalpur under the chairmanship of BISP Additional Secretary Dr. Tahir Noor, where the arrangement of retail agents for the fourth quarter payments was finalized.

Dr. Tahir Noor said that “this model will facilitate the deserving women to receive payments at their nearest locations, which is a safe, dignified, and reliable method.
