Islamabad. Federal Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that if the opposition has a passion for distrust, the government is not in need of any support but is standing on its feet. Talking to the media outside the Parliament House in Islamabad, he said that the PTI itself ran away from the talks, but now they will come back to the same platform.
Talal Chaudhry clarified that whatever talks will be held will only be for the betterment of the people; there will be no talk on any NRO. He added that the opposition should first resolve their internal differences and first determine whether Alima Khan’s votes are for courtesy or Bushra Bibi.
He said that different groups have been formed within the PTI; sometimes the Gandapur group and sometimes the Lahori group comes to the fore. He said that these people are not politicians but are running the party in an apolitical manner.
The Minister of State said that a political activist was made the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, which was not liked by the founder PTI. His sister immediately complained about the removal of the chairman, but later the decision was withdrawn.
Talal Chaudhry said that the government is serious about solving the problems of the people and will not accept any kind of pressure.
