ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said in the Senate that Pakistan and India have agreed to extend the ceasefire till May 18 to reduce border tensions after mutual talks. He informed us that the series started on May 10, during the discussions between the DGMOs, was extended to May 12, then May 14, and finally to May 18.

Describing the Indian allegations as old and unacceptable, Ishaq Dar said that immediately after the Pahalgam incident, India made baseless allegations against Pakistan. He made it clear that Pakistan had already said that such attacks would be given a befitting reply, and under this, Pakistan shot down six Indian aircraft while none of its own aircraft was safe from damage.
