Important meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, a blunt message to the India

ISLAMABAD: In an important and extraordinary meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the country’s security situation was reviewed in detail, and commitment was expressed to fully implement the recent decisions of the National Security Committee. The meeting was attended by federal ministers, top security officials, and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif.

All the participants and top security officials present in the meeting fully agreed that in the current circumstances, Pakistan has to give a clear, strong, and united message that the sovereignty, integrity, and protection of the lives and property of the citizens of the country are at stake. The participants of the meeting said that the people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces and the entire nation is united to respond to any external aggression.

Last night, Indian forces attacked several urban areas in Azad Kashmir and Punjab, including Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Muridke, and Ahmedpur Sharqia. Two mosques were destroyed in the attack. 31 Pakistanis, including two innocent children, were martyred, and 51 were injured. These attacks were carried out in the darkness of the night, which is clear proof of the enemy’s cowardice.

Pakistan responded by shooting down three Indian Air Force Rafales, one MiG-29, one Su-30 aircraft, and a combat drone. This success is not only a testament to Pakistan’s defense preparedness. Rather, it is a sign that the country is fully capable of effectively responding to any aggression.

The meeting of the National Security Committee emphasized that Pakistan reserves the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter and has every right to avenge the killing of its innocent citizens at any time, any place, and in any manner. The statement said that Pakistan is a peaceful country, but the desire for peace should not be considered as weakness. A strong message was given to the enemy that if the land, people, or sovereignty of the country were attacked, the response would be such that history would remember.

Pakistan has once again categorically rejected Indian propaganda and false accusations and called on the international community to take notice of India’s violations of international law. Pakistan also made it clear that it completely rejects baseless allegations such as the presence of terrorist camps on its soil.

The same spirit has once again emerged in the nation, which has always been the identity of Pakistan in testing times. People from all walks of life, political leadership, civil society, and the media are uniting to declare that Pakistan will not bow down, will not stop, and will not be suppressed. There will be no compromise on the integrity of the country.
