Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that making national integration a condition for the release of the founder is against patriotism. He said that the security and stability of the country are more important than any individual or leadership.
Khawaja Asif recalled that at the time of the Pulwama incident, a large part of the PML-N leadership was in jail at the behest of the PTI founder, yet the PML-N did not interfere in the national unity. He added that everyone should work together in the national interest and not give priority to personal interests.
