Maryam Nawaz’s vision: Commitment to make Punjab the center of the digital economy

Lahore: A high-level delegation of the World Liberty Organization met Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in which there was a detailed discussion on blockchain technology, tokenization of real-world assets, and stable applications.

The meeting was also attended by Bilal bin Saqib, the head of the Pakistan Crypto Council, along with Zazari Folkman, Zazari Witkoff, and Chase Harrow. Various aspects of linking natural resources with the digital economy, including ‘Air Punjab’ and bullet train projects, were discussed on the occasion.

The implementation of stablecoin solutions to increase transparency and security in digital transactions was discussed, while the prospects for global trade, improvement of the financial system, and development through a decentralized finance model were also discussed.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that by promoting digital innovation in Punjab, the province is being put on new paths of development. He termed the collaboration with global experts as a positive step for the economic development of the province.
