Peshawar: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman called for a nationwide shutdown strike on April 26, saying the protest was against the United States, Israel, and India, which were involved in the massacre of Muslims.
Addressing a business convention in Peshawar, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that India is already supporting Israel and is involved in the massacre of Muslims. He said that everyone should be united against India, and despite differences with the government, everyone should be united for the survival of the country.
He added that the government should take the opposition into confidence, as everyone should be united on such an occasion.
On this call of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, a shutter-down strike is expected to be held across the country on April 26, in which businessmen, industrialists, and the public will participate fully.
The strike aims to raise the voice for the rights of Muslims globally and to pressure governments to take notice of abuses against Muslims and protect their rights.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that this strike is not just a protest but a message that Muslims around the world are united and will raise their voice for their rights.
He appealed to people of all schools of thought to participate in the strike and raise their voices for the rights of Muslims globally.
On this call of Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami and other religious parties have announced support, and preparations have been started for this strike across the country.
