Islamabad: Greeting the Christian community on the occasion of Easter, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that this day reminds us of the universal message of love, sacrifice, and peace.
In his statement, he said that the life of Jesus teaches us forgiveness and love for humanity, and Easter gives us hope that we all have a role to play to make the world better.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the Christian community in Pakistan has made valuable contributions in education, health, welfare, and other fields, which are valuable assets of the nation.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the Christian community would continue to play its role for a peaceful, prosperous, and united Pakistan in the future. He said that Easter teaches us that we have to connect with each other to make the world a better and more peaceful place.
