Ali Amin Gandapur is likely to be surrounded, reveals Sher Afzal Marwat

Peshawar: During a political debate in Peshawar, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Member of National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat revealed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is facing pressure at various levels. He said that it seems that the cordon around Ali Amin Gandapur is being tightened, but the reasons for this are not yet clear.

Sher Afzal Marwat clarified that the differences between PTI and JUI did not arise due to Ali Amin Gandapur but due to the statements made by the leaders of the two parties. He said, Why would Maulana Fazlur Rehman be part of an alliance that would only benefit the PTI?”

Further in the conversation, he expressed concern over the growing terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that earlier the problem was limited to the merged districts, but now areas like Karak and Kohat have also come under its grip. He said that it is the joint responsibility of both the federal and provincial governments to take action against terrorism.

Highlighting the party’s internal politics, he said that those who have been made the president of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also held the same position in the past. He said that Ali Amin Gandapur had removed these party presidents, but now that the new presidents have been appointed, it seems that the founder of PTI has also been included in this decision.
