Gold price surges to new all-time high

Karachi: The price of gold in the country continues to rise, and even today the price of gold per tola in the local market saw an increase of Rs 1,650, after which the new price was Rs 3 lakh 19 thousand. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 1,415 to reach Rs 273,491.

Gold prices also continued to rise in the global market, where gold rose by $16 to $3,038 per ounce. Analysts say that the demand for gold is increasing due to uncertainty in the global economy and the fluctuation in the value of the dollar. In addition, a possible depreciation of the rupee at the local level is also having an impact on gold prices.

According to investors and goldsmiths, despite the increase in gold prices, the trend of buying and selling in the market is a bit slow, as the ever-increasing prices have made it difficult for ordinary consumers to buy gold. If this trend continues in the global and local markets, then the price of gold is expected to increase further in the coming days.
