KARACHI: The trading day ended on a positive note at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today, where the 100 index recorded a significant gain of 1,009 points.
The benchmark 100 index closed at 115,094 points, while the index fluctuated in a band of 818 points during the trading day.
A total of 38 crore shares were traded in the stock market, with a total value of Rs 25 billion.
The total market capitalization (market capitalization) saw an increase of 80 billion rupees, after which its value reached 14,128 billion rupees.
The surge is being seen as a positive sign of growing investor confidence and economic stability.
