Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) produced strong trading results during the session after the PSX-100 Index reached 111,377 points from its earlier 110,322 mark.
Investor confidence remained high throughout the day as the index tracked volatility from 1,674 points during trading hours.
A trading volume of 41 million shares generated Rs 23 billion worth of transactions, which resulted in a market capitalization rise of Rs 123 billion until it reached Rs 13.773 trillion.
Strong market performance indicates revived investor confidence, which shows signs of market sentiment change in response to developing economic variables.
