Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange benchmark PSX 100 collapsed to 110,301 after losing 1,634 points. The stock exchange’s current closing number of 110,301 reveals rising investor nervousness because it differs noticeably from the 111,935 closing value from last week.

Throughout the trading session today, the KSE-100 Index moved between an extensive range of 2,828 points, reaching its yearly bottom at 109,405. Market participants are expressing serious concern because of this substantial drop, which has drawn attention. The market traded 59 million shares, resulting in Rs. 25 billion total worth on this day. The market capitalisation experienced a major downturn, resulting in a Rs. 172 billion loss, which set the market value at Rs. 13.654 trillion.

The market decline resulted from both nationwide conditions together with worldwide market shifts, political tensions, and economic uncertainties.
