Islamabad: Senator Irfan Siddiqui from PML-N said that both parties demonstrated genuine commitment to resolving the demands presented. Barrister Gohar declared before the media that he would no longer take part. We will handle this situation as he decides.
Senator Siddiqui detailed that seven members from the government negotiation group operate according to their personal appointment calendars. He pointed out that if demands had been settled before the fourth meeting, then they could have made it into the final communique.
The government had scheduled its response to Barrister Gohar’s demands for January 28 after allowing six weeks for PTI’s negotiation terms. The PTI party formally concluded its negotiation process with multiple excuses, although their declaration of termination came at the beginning of January 23.
The negotiation process entered a permanent conclusion, yet the committee will hold its position until January 31. The opposition must resume discussions to start a dialogue if they wish to do so now. We have prepared our last response, which the committee will present during its next gathering,” Siddiqui announced.
According to Siddiqui, the negotiations faltered because PTI used its resources toward different matters. According to his statements, “PTI took responsibility for initiating discussions only to disrupt those agreements of their own making.”
According to Siddiqui, the opposition continues to violate democratic rules through their attacks targeting both the prime minister and military forces because we will neither delay nor communicate further with them.
