Lahore: A significant drop in gold price has been recorded in Pakistan, after which gold per tola became Rs 436,336. The effects of the fall in prices in the global market were also seen in the local gold market.
According to the All Pakistan Gold Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in the local market decreased by Rs 4,300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 3,687 to Rs 374,087.
A drop in gold price was also seen at the global level. Gold fell by $43 per ounce to $4,138 in the international market. This change in global rates also affected local market prices.
The recent price fluctuations reflect the ongoing uncertainty in the gold market. The price of gold per tola in the local bullion market had increased by Rs2,000 yesterday, but the recent decline has somewhat offset the effects of this increase.
The daily change in gold prices affects jewelry purchasing and investment decisions. Due to global market trends and fluctuations in local rates, buyers and traders will remain focused on future prices.
