Lahore: The Ministry of Interior has prepared a special report regarding different visa categories in Pakistan, in which separate lists of countries for business, tourist and grant visas have been included.
According to the report of the Ministry of Interior, a total of 69 countries are included in Pakistan’s business visa list. These include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Malta, Qatar, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States and Uzbekistan.
The report also provides details on tourist visas. This category includes 24 countries. The responsibility of the designated tour operator regarding people coming to Pakistan from these countries has also been clarified.
According to the Interior Ministry document, the list of grant visas includes 15 countries. Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen are among the countries that have been listed under this category.
The report also provides information regarding dual citizenship. According to the Interior Ministry, there are 16 countries that have been included in this list.
This report prepared by the Interior Ministry indicates Pakistan’s current administrative procedures for different visa categories. It also includes information related to various visa conditions with foreign nationals coming for business and tourism purposes.
The list of countries included in the report is considered important for visa applications and related administrative matters. However, each application will be decided in accordance with the relevant rules and established procedures.
The Interior Ministry’s report has come out at a time when attention is being paid to making the visa system more systematic for the arrival of foreign nationals, business activities and tourism in Pakistan.
