KARACHI: Exchange rates of major foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee (PKR) are being updated in the open market today, September 7, 2026, as the latest rates are being closely monitored by traders, overseas Pakistanis, travellers and businesses.

The buying and selling rates of major global currencies, including the US dollar, euro, British pound, Saudi riyal and UAE dirham, are being provided below against the Pakistani rupee.

The US Dollar buying rate is 278.00 PKR and the selling rate is 278.50 PKR.
The Saudi Riyal buying rate is 74.05 PKR and the selling rate is 74.70 PKR.
The UK Pound buying rate is 375.70 PKR and the selling rate is 378.65 PKR.
Buying is the rate an exchange company pays when you sell foreign currency. Selling is the rate you pay when purchasing foreign currency.
