Washington/Tehran: Diplomatic contacts between the United States and Iran are continuing to reduce tensions in the Middle East, but no final agreement has been announced yet regarding a possible understanding between the two countries.

US President Donald Trump held important consultations with his top advisers in the Situation Room of the White House, where the situation in the region and various aspects of a possible agreement with Iran were reviewed. According to US officials, progress has been made on some issues as a result of diplomatic activities in recent weeks, but further deliberations are ongoing on important points.

On the other hand, Iranian officials have made it clear that the negotiation process is not complete and that the exchange of messages between the parties is ongoing. Tehran maintains that consensus has yet to be reached on some issues, so it would be premature to announce any final result.

The Strait of Hormuz is of particular importance for stability in the region, where a large part of the world’s energy trade passes. Global markets are also keeping a close eye on diplomatic developments as any positive development could have a positive impact on energy supplies and global economic activity.

Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has reiterated his commitment to diplomacy in recent statements, calling for continued cooperation with various countries. He also praised Pakistan’s role in peace efforts and coordination.

According to diplomatic observers, Pakistan has played an active role in promoting regional stability and a conducive environment for dialogue in recent months. Experts say that efforts by the Muslim world and key countries in the region to reduce tensions could yield positive results in the future.

Meanwhile, global investors and financial institutions are also closely monitoring the progress of the talks. If confidence-building measures between the US and Iran move forward, it will have an impact not only on the region but also on the global economy.

Analysts say that the current phase is sensitive and agreement on several technical and political issues will be necessary before any final agreement is reached. However, ongoing diplomatic contacts indicate that the parties are trying to prioritize the path of negotiation over conflict.
