Lahore – The prices of daily necessities have once again increased in the open market, after which public difficulties have increased further.
According to market sources, the prices of first-class sunflower oil and canola oil have been increased by Rs 13 to 16 per kg. In addition, there has also been a significant increase in the prices of patties of different brands.
According to the details, the price of a 5-liter patty of sunflower oil has increased by Rs 65, after which the new price has become Rs 3,090, while a patty of canola oil has reached Rs 3,030 after an increase of Rs 80. Similarly, the price of first-class ghee has been increased by Rs 16 per kg, after which the new price has become Rs 606.
Bakery items are also expensive
The prices of bakery products have also increased in the market. Large bread is being sold for Rs 220 after an increase of Rs 20, while small bread is being sold for Rs 120 after an increase of Rs 10.The price of a burger bun packet has increased from Rs 130 to Rs 150, the price of a 200-gram juice packet has increased from Rs 140 to Rs 160, while a 100-gram Baqir Khani packet is being sold for Rs 120.
Cigarette prices have also increased
The prices of cigarettes have also increased significantly in the market. A cigarette stick of a well-known brand has increased by Rs 200 to Rs 5,000, while a stick of another brand has increased by Rs 100 to Rs 2,520. According to experts, this trend of continued inflation is putting further pressure on the budgets of ordinary consumers.
