PSX closes higher as KSE-100 gains 809 points after volatile session
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended Monday’s trading session on a positive note, with the benchmark KSE-100 index closing at 151,207.82 points after gaining 809.10 points, or 0.54 percent.
The market remained highly volatile during the day. The index opened at 150,272.88 and initially came under pressure, falling to an intraday low of 147,771.36. However, strong buying in the second half helped the market recover sharply and touch a high of 151,875.02 before settling near the day’s peak.
Analysts said easing geopolitical concerns and late-session institutional buying supported the recovery. Energy, fertilizer and cement stocks remained among the top gainers. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
