Lahore: The latest official poultry price notification has been issued for Friday, 03 April 2026, by the district administration of Lahore.
According to the released list, farm chicken has been priced at Rs. 383 per kilogram, while live broiler chicken is available at Rs. 397 per kilogram. The retail chicken meat rate has been fixed at Rs. 411 per kilogram.
In addition, the price of small chicks has been notified at Rs. 59, whereas day-old chicks are listed at Rs. 67.80 per bird.
Egg prices remain an important concern for households, and the latest notification places the rate at Rs. 230 per dozen.
Authorities say the official rates are being enforced to protect consumers from unjustified price increases in the market.
Citizens have been encouraged to verify rates before making purchases and to report violations to the district administration complaint number.
