Rawalpindi – The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) has issued a special congratulatory message to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, in which the leadership of the armed forces has attributed the true spirit of Eid to the service and defense of the motherland.
The ISPR statement said that Eid-ul-Fitr is not just a festival but reflects the highest human and Islamic values such as unity, compassion and gratitude. The statement emphasized that the day of Eid teaches us a lesson of mutual love and sacrifice, which is the foundation of a strong nation.
Tribute to the defenders of the motherland
In its message, the military leadership specially remembered those brave soldiers and officers who are assigned to protect the motherland at the borders far from their homes and families.
According to the statement, the real spirit of Eid for the armed forces lies in the defense of the motherland, where the soldiers sacrifice their personal happiness for the peace and stability of the country.
The leadership of the armed forces also appreciated the sacrifices and steadfastness of the families of martyrs and ghazis who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The statement said that the entire nation and the military leadership wholeheartedly acknowledge the determination and courage of these families whose loved ones sacrificed their lives for the survival of the country.
The ISPR statement concluded with a prayer that this Eid brings lasting peace, progress, prosperity and blessings to Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah. The leadership reiterated its resolve that the armed forces are always ready and prepared against Pakistan’s enemies and for the security of the country.
