Tehran — Iran has claimed responsibility for a large-scale missile operation targeting what it described as American and Israeli military facilities across several locations in the Middle East. The announcement was made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which said the strikes were part of Operation True Promise 4.
In an official statement, the IRGC said the missile campaign lasted for about three hours and involved attacks on multiple strategic sites believed to be connected with US and Israeli military activities.

According to Iranian officials, one of the key locations targeted during the operation was the Iraqi city of Erbil. The IRGC claimed that missiles struck certain military centers located in the area.
Iranian authorities also stated that the operation extended to Bahrain, where the United States Navy’s Fifth Fleet maintains its headquarters. Tehran said the missile attack was aimed at facilities associated with US naval operations in the region.

At the same time, Iranian officials reported that missile strikes were launched toward Israel. The IRGC claimed that military installations located in Tel Aviv were among the targets.

Iranian officials further stated that a satellite communications facility in southern Tel Aviv was hit again during the operation. According to the statement, the same installation had previously been targeted in earlier phases of the conflict.
The Iranian military also claimed that missiles reached the port city of Haifa.

Reports cited by Iranian officials indicated that several explosions were heard in the city following the strikes.

In its statement, the IRGC said the operation involved the use of some of Iran’s most advanced missile systems. These included the Kheibar Shekan, Qadr, and Khatam Shahr missiles.
Officials explained that these missiles are designed with multiple warheads, increasing their impact and destructive power. The Qadr missile, in particular, is capable of carrying a warhead weighing close to one ton, making it capable of damaging large and heavily protected targets.

Iran has repeatedly emphasized that its missile program is an essential part of its national defense strategy. Officials in Tehran say these weapons allow the country to respond to threats and maintain deterrence against adversaries.
The IRGC said Operation True Promise 4 was launched last month following what it described as military actions taken by the United States and Israel against Iran.

According to Iranian officials, the latest missile strikes represent a continuation of Iran’s response and demonstrate the country’s willingness to defend its interests.

The announcement of the missile operation has further raised concerns about rising tensions in the Middle East. Analysts warn that continued military exchanges between regional powers could increase instability across the region.

At this stage, US and Israeli authorities have not issued detailed responses to the claims made by Iran regarding the latest missile attacks.
