Karachi: The British pound is currently trading at Rs. 380.85 buying and Rs. 384.60 selling, remaining one of the highest valued currencies in Pakistan’s open market.

The Pakistani diaspora in the United Kingdom is continuously sending remittances, and the strong pound is increasing rupee returns for families. With the buying rate near Rs. 381, remittance inflows are strengthening domestic consumption.

Education, healthcare payments, and trade transactions between Pakistan and the UK are ongoing. The selling rate of Rs. 384.60 is reflecting active demand for the pound.

As Pakistan is balancing its external sector, the GBP rate is playing a key role in remittance-driven economic support.
