Karachi: The Omani Riyal is staying one of the strongest foreign currencies in Pakistan’s open market, offering significant returns to families receiving funds from Oman.
The Riyal is being bought at Rs. 728.20 and sold at Rs. 738.19, maintaining its high value against the rupee.
Thousands of Pakistanis working in Oman’s industrial, port, and service sectors are sending regular remittances, and the strong exchange rate is multiplying their support back home.
Because of its high worth, even small transfers are converting into large amounts in rupees, helping families meet major expenses like school fees and house rents.
The Omani currency is continuing to stand out as one of the most beneficial for remittance-receiving households.
