Karachi: The British Pound is continuing to show strength in the open market, as Pakistani workers and families in the United Kingdom are steadily supporting relatives back home.
The UK Pound Sterling is being bought at Rs. 378.37 and sold at Rs. 382.74.
With a large Pakistani diaspora settled in London, Birmingham, and Manchester, remittances from the UK are regularly reaching Pakistan. Many families are relying on these funds to cover education, healthcare, and property expenses.
Students planning studies in the UK are also keeping an eye on the pound’s movement for budgeting purposes.
The pound is maintaining its firm position, reflecting its global strength and consistent demand locally.
