Karachi: The Saudi Riyal is remaining one of the most important foreign currencies for Pakistan, as millions of workers in Saudi Arabia are continuing to send money back home every month.
In today’s open market, the Saudi Riyal is being bought at Rs. 74.90 and sold at Rs. 75.35.
With a large Pakistani community employed in construction, transport, healthcare, and hospitality sectors across the Kingdom, the riyal is consistently flowing into Pakistan’s economy. These remittances are playing a major role in supporting families, especially in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir.
Households are using these funds for daily expenses, children’s education, and small businesses. As Umrah and Hajj travel are also continuing, the demand for riyals is staying active.
The currency is currently showing stable behavior, which is providing relief to both travelers and workers.
